创作背景

2014年7月，《See You Again》制作人之一的查理·普斯在听到演员保罗·沃克去世的消息后，因为联想到自己有一位好友，跟保罗·沃克一样也是在车祸中丧生，所以他当时就想把这首歌曲写出来，为的是献给每一位曾心灵受创的人，让他们有所慰藉。

速度与激情7片段

该歌曲仅用时十分钟便创作完成，查理·普斯在创作过程中只是弹着钢琴，自然而然地就唱出了“It’s Been a Long Day”，并写下这段基本的歌词，将歌曲命名为《See You Again》。之后，查理·普斯在多次改动下才将《See You Again》创作完成。^[1]

《See You Again》以一段宁静柔和的钢琴声作为开场。“没有老友你的陪伴，日子真是漫长，与你重逢之时，我会敞开心扉倾诉所有”，听者的情绪从一开始便被歌词所调动。随后由哈利法完成了两段深情的说唱。歌曲充满着使人流泪的力量，而这种力量让大部分电影观看者在电影结束时不由得落下了眼泪。
