剧情介绍

故事发生在16世纪。丹妮尔（德鲁·巴里摩尔Drew Barrymore饰）从小和父亲相依为命，但父亲迎娶继母罗米拉（安杰丽卡·休斯顿Anjelica Huston饰）后，很快出意外身亡，丹妮尔成了灰姑娘，但依旧坚强独立、热爱生活。机缘巧合之下，丹妮尔与法国王子亨利（多格雷·斯科特 Dougray Scott饰）相遇，还从绿林大盗手中救了王子一命，两人彼此倾心，王子更想为她拒绝家中安排的政治婚姻。但继母得知这一切后，处心积虑想让自己长女玛格丽特（梅根·多兹Megan Dodds饰）嫁给王子，还谎称丹妮尔只是家中女仆。王子听信了继母谎言，愤怒地放弃了丹妮尔……

英文简短剧情：With the sudden death of her loving father, Danielle is made a servant by her new stepmother. She also has two new stepsisters, one quite kind but the other one really horrid. Still, Danielle grows up to be a happy and strong-willed young lady, and one day her path crosses that of handsome Prince Henry, who has troubles of his own at home. Luckily the nice Leonardo da Vinci is on hand to help all round.

演员介绍

德鲁·巴里摩尔1975年生于洛杉矶有名的演艺世家，祖父、父亲及叔叔皆是演员。她10个月时便参加广告片拍摄，3岁稚龄便参与电影演出。1982年7岁时在《外星人》的纯真模样令人十分喜爱，并陆续在《舞台》、《势如破竹》、《猫眼》中以童星姿态挑大梁演出。然而太快成名令她备感压力，于青少年成长期染上酒瘾及毒瘾，演艺事业一度中断。戒毒后她重回好莱坞，在1989年推出第一部青春期角色作品《离乡恨》。其后她多半饰演叛逆、早熟，带点风骚味的角色，和私底下的她颇为相似。

1994年曾与杰瑞米·托马斯结婚，但仅维持不到两个月便结束。直至1998年，终于以成熟和正面的角色在《婚礼歌手》中大放异彩，又接连以《灰姑娘》和《一吻定江山》在市场上大获全胜，成为新一代女星的接班人。2000年主演的《霹雳天使》更是红遍全球。2001年她出演了影片《与男孩同车》，该片入选当年奥斯卡奖不少提名。2004年她与亚当·桑德勒再次合作，出演了喜剧片《初恋50次》，在票房与口碑上都取得了不错的成绩。2007年春季档她与休·格兰特合作的浪漫爱情喜剧《K歌情人》依然维持着不错的票房，再次证明了巴里摩尔的号召力。

幕后制作

身兼导演及编剧，曾导演过《傻爱成真》的安迪·特南特，这次会以“灰姑娘”这个人人知晓的题材搬上银幕的原因，其中是为了他的两位千金，他说：“我要讲述一个与众不同的版本，不同于以往，为的是要让我的两位小女儿长大后不会有着刻板的印象，以为只要嫁一个有钱、有房子、有车子的男人，就会离幸福不远了。”他不认为灰姑娘只是卡通或神话故事，而是一个完全无法预测、充满冒险与勇气的真实故事。童星出身的德鲁·巴里摩尔在影片中担任女主角，也是一大看点。
